As I looked out of my window this AM there was nothing but snow and more snow. The temperature registered -11 degrees. The window has ice at the bottom and I needed to wipe the condensation off to get the camera to take the photo below.
There are about 15 inches of snow on the ground.
However, as the furnace kicked on again [and again], my nose caught a whiff of a delightful fragrance. It was a plant that I wintered-over in our loft- a citrus plant! Yes, citrus, but I don’t know what kind. Nonetheless, the odor [fragrance] was delightful.
How odd this juxtaposition of the coldest day in two decades and the smell of citrus flowers.
