  1. Hello Laci and Muddy,
Idiocracy is a great movie that demonstraits truth within humor….and as far as the Hilibillies Amoung Us….I live this one everyday here on the Eastern Shore of Maryland…..only here we call them the Rush Limbaugh / Michael Steel Republican Party members.

  2. Hello Lacy and Muddy,
Idiocracy is a great movie that passes on truth within humor…..and as far as, “Hillibilies Among Us,”…I live that everyday…only we call them Rush Limbaugh / Michael Steel Republican Party members.

  3. They am armed already!
The teabaggery bloggist who militantly told his readers ro break windows of the offices of Democratic politicians had a long history of conservative extremism. But why did he have so much spare time? The very “over extensive” government he railed against was letting him live with a claimed disability. He didn’t have to work and in reality, he probably could work, but he had drifted off into his little government subsidized bizarro world.
His wife was working but they had figured out how to collect disability claims for her as well.
Boy, I just read “Unframed Originals” by the American author W.S. Merwyn and he really gives a glimpse into the evolution of the fundamentalist madness mindset in his own portrait of his family.
One of the aunts reminds me a little too much of one of Mudrakes nemisis….not the big drum beating blaring one…but the other, more manipulative one who claims to have been studying biblical prophecy from childhood.

Oh really? I didn’t know that she was clairvoyant and had a fast-track to the future. Do you suppose that she holds séances in her basement and tells not only the future of life of the person but their eternal fate as well?

I know that she condemned me to Hell in several comments recently on another blog, defining me as ‘the Devil himself!’. I thought it was just the acute manic or mixed episodes associated with her bipolar disorder. But now you tell me that she is a prophetess of the occult.

How very interesting. This explains so much more than I had realized about that very deranged woman. So much more. Perhaps you’d like to detail that for me in an email.

  5. If I had time, I would tell you about my theory that links all this to the Economic collapse of our manufacturing base. How these guys are similar to disenfranchised inner city gang members. Disenfranchisement manifests in certain people an enhancement of their already present anti social personality disorder, couple that with gun fetishism and a feeling of powerlessness you get white reactionary militias, or black inner city gangs – 2 sides of the same economically disadvantaged coin. Only the bar for getting completely disenfranchised and branded a felon is far lower for the black gang member than the white militiaman. All the black guy has to do is stand on a corner while the white guy has to pretty much threaten armed revolt against the government.

  6. Steve, I have to admit an interest in your theory as well since it sounds quite plausible. I deal with the underclass on a regular basis. Although, the criminal element doesn’t even need to originate in poverty, just a frustration with the “system” and how to work within it.

  7. I love that they asked for “Public Defenders” (and they thought they could bring down our government), undercover FBI agent, sweet. The simpleton Tea baggers keep missing the point. These are the same whiners that were crying when the McCain/Bailin ticket lost. Now they are crying again because their yelling and screaming (because they are haters not debaters or as others have dubbed them screamers not dreamers) did not stop the health care debate or the bill from passing. They think they can scare, intimidate and force others to go along with them by comments like “This time we came unarmed”, let me tell you something they are not the only ones that are armed and not all ex-military join the fringe militia crazies who don’t pay taxes and run around with face paint in the parks playing commando, the majority are mature and understand that the world is more complicated and grey than the black and white that these simpleton make it out to be and that my friend is the point. Do not cry when regular people openly laugh at your group when they see on TV that your leaders are Sarah Bailin, Orly Taitz, Victoria Jackson, Michele Bachmann and your own turn coat Glenn Beck from the LDS. They do more to discredit you group on TV (powerful) than any of comments on the blog sphere. Yee Haw!

  8. Well I’ve already forgot what my theory was since all information in my brain has been pushed out to make room for obstetric care of the newborn and mother. But Jesus general wrote a FANTASTIC essay on the cognitive dissonance of the tea-bagger’s and the psychology involved in the process of seeking and utilizing the very government resources you’re waging a battle against.

  9. Perhaps, this is the problem with having news as entertainment as opposed to informative. The media choose stories that are sensational and fringe.

    I like Montana’s comment.
One problem with the PD is that there is a conflict out there (one lawyer cannot represent more than one criminal client without a waiver). Thus they end up with other court appointed attorneys. Still, the gov’t (and through them, the taxpayer) pays for their defence.

I would like to think that the keyboard warriors and media clowns do discredit this movement, but it seems popular.

The key word is SEEMS. Appearances can be deceiving.
